SS Daytona gone from Rolex Webpage??!!

Hi everybody!

With all the commotion going on about the possible Sub/SD Teaser on
Rolex's website... there might be something else too...
Now don't flame me, it might also be a flaw or a glitch... but...

has anybody tried to find the SS Daytona on the Rolex site lately? I know
it was there 3 days ago when I last checked...
Well, anyway... if you check on their web-site here:

Daytona models

Then scroll to the right (either with the numbers or with the right arrow)...
3 days ago there used to be 7 (!) numbers (for 7 variants).. to the last one.
It now stops at "6"! The "7" is missing... and that used to be the SS model!!!!

What do you guys think???

Should the ones that have the 115620s be now even more glad than before?

Could that be another hint that something within the Daytona-range might
also come up during Baselworld?

I did not want to start a new "what might be" thread... its just that I was
amazed that the SS Daytona is not there anymore...

B/R

Petros

I opened it using 3 different browsers... cleared the cache and all that...
Still gone...!!! Here's a pic. The model-presentation stops at "6", the "7"
is missing and the right arrow ("my" red arrow pointing at it) is greyed-out:

Oh well... whatever...

At one point I opened the Rolex website yesterday from my school and it asked me if I wanted to see the Flash version or the HTML version, but I didn't have a chance to check out the HTML version. Now I'm home and it's not asking me that, I wanted to see the HTML version. I had never seen it

If the 42MM is coming, would that not apply to all variants of the Daytona and if so why not take all the Daytona models down?

Yes, you are right...
But who knows? Maybe with the Daytona they introduce the changes on
the SS model first?

Oh boy... here I am, spreading rumors... I'm sorry... I guess we'll just have to
wait and see... It may also be a glitch of their web-site...

Actually it was there 3 days ago (as I happened to look it up, while dozing around at the office).
It was model Nr. 7... the next one after the TT model!

Oh well...

Over on TZ, a promiment poster, who also happens to be a moderator albeit not on the Rolex forum, declared the SS Daytona to be discontinued... vicious rumour mongering...

I just put a deposit down for a SS Daytona about 2hrs ago. That may have been the kiss of death.

Doesn't mean a thing IMO. Not all watches are on the site at all times. No big deal.
