James May is a WIS

Just a couple of vids if you are bored at work.

First one he explains quartz. Second vid is better, out-take where he talks about watches in general.

Jeremy Clarkson may have a collection of hammers and James May has a collection of watches. I enjoyed this. It is funny, ask him about MiG's. I was just watching an episode where they were in Albania and Hammond kept saying "While these two are reliving their Cold War fantasies."

I do always see good watched on Top Gear.

What does the Stig wear? Probably a Daytona. Oh, that is England, so probably a Graham chronofighter.

Thank you for introducing me to James May.

We have a lot in common when it comes to watches.

He presents the UK Top Gear show, Grady, which seems to be pretty popular worldwide.

I don't watch television.

(Cue the scene from "Pulp Fiction.")

I think all three of them are into watches. Every episode they all seem to have something different on. Recently I think I saw Hammond with a Daytona on.

Very interesting.

Captain Slow is the only member whom I've not caught wearing easily identifiable watches.

Jezza: Seamaster PO
Hammond: Sub, Breitling something

I think, like many successful people, they all have a varied collection of upmarket watches.
I often see Hammond wearing a Submariner.
I struggle to identify any of the other watches they wear, but many look familiar and the brands Bremont, TAG and Breitling come to mind.
Hammond is reputed to wear a TAG Monaco.
Think I've seen an IWC on Clarkson.

Actually all the guys from TopGear wear some cool watches. Had a chance to see them in person couple of months ago in Prague.

As about Stig, some say..... (no not Invicta I hope.. )

It staggers me when I find folks who aren't familiar with TG. Most watches show on the planet. Even my mother watches it and she couldn't care less about cars. It's a brilliant, tongue-in-cheek view of the industry and funny as hell for everyone.

Ive watched every single episode since day 1 (of the new top gear) and I love their watch collections lol.

Besides the ones listed above, ive also seen Hammond with a Pam and Clarkson with a breitling emergency mission.
