Car accident today - Rolex damaged

I got in a bad car accident today. A guy in a truck pulled out in front of me and I broad-sided him. The good news is that no one was seriously hurt. The bad news is that my car is totalled and my Rolex took a hit. My clasp opened up from the impact and the pin bent where the clasp, flip-lock, and bracelet connect. The clasp scraped up my wrist and hand pretty good drawing a bit of blood. I'm lucky the watch didn't fly off my arm completely. I just got back from my AD and they were able to straighten the pin and clasp out in just a few minutes. The watch is good as new now - I'm really thankful for that! I'm going to keep any eye on the accuracy over the next few days to make sure it's still keeping good time. Here's a pic of my car after the wreck. I'm really thankful to be ok. I LOVE airbags!

No one was hurt, that is the best thing...things are just things whether cars or watches and can be replaced. Glad you are okay!

Thanks, guys! It was a scary moment. The car's being inspected tomorrow by the adjuster - I'm expecting him to declare it totalled. This'll be the second Mustang I've totalled in 4 years and neither accident was my fault. I guess it's time to start car shopping. I'm bummed... I really liked my car.

Glad to hear you are ok.

From what I can see the car is definitely a total loss.

Jeff,

The main thing is you are still in one piece

Sorry about your 'Stang. If you have any sense of fate, maybe it's time to look at a different car. I hear Porsches are pretty nice

Oh, and a NATO might be a good idea too

Take care.
