Craziness for sure! Even as someone who collected, and loves comics, I can't wrap my head around it, but perhaps it is because I'm not a huge Superman fan. I totally get it when it comes to X-men...

Definitely worth the 10 cent cover price. I read that years ago, a reproduction in a large bound book.

Looks like The Man of Steel had some pent up aggression issues back in those days.
Good thing he eventually met Lois.

I read my first comic - Superman - on a train from our house on Long Island to NYC. 1954. I was 4 and a half years old, and my mother told me she bought it to keep me out of of trouble during the trip.

But my favorites were Tales of the Unknown, and other such Sci-Fi type comics. Brings back memories.

I remember coming home one day and went looking for my comic books. I had a good collection from used book stores and new. I could not find them. My Mom tossed them out because she said they were not worth anything. I often wonder how much they would have been worth now.

Wonder what kind of vetting Ebay does when they offer a money back guarantee on something like this.

Payment via visa/MC only. Who's got that kind of limit? I suppose you could put a part of it on several cards.

Assuming you can store it well and not damage it, this is probably a pretty good investment opportunity. Oh, and assuming you have the 2-3 million to spend on it...

Though, I doubt anyone spending this much on a comic is contemplating this as an investment piece...

I could never buy a pile of colored print for that kind of money! My watches do seem like a bargain!

Action Comics No. 1 in 9.0 out of 10 condition on Ebay

In the 1980's I purchased low numbered X-Men comics - 12, 14, 15, etc. along with early editions of Iron Man, The Fantastic Four, etc. Back then they were only 20 years old. Now these comic books are almost 50 years old and I still have them sitting next to my other watches in a safe deposit box. It brings back memories. I may stop by the bank and will post some pictures of the editions I still have.

I have boxes and boxes of comic books, many have not been touched in thirty years, every time I think about pulling them out I chicken out because I don't wanna know what there worth, I've never seen them but I'm told my wife's deceased father has every issue of playboy up until 2013. And then there are the hot wheel cars and all my wife's Barbie dolls....can anyone say hoarder......
