You can pay real silly money for some straps but in the real world most are not better quality than the ones from Hirsch.

Id say there are two types of leather straps. Casual and formal.

A few of the higher level ones in dress area Abp, camille

Mid range hirsch premium like viscount. Etc

Is it best value for money or best strap ??

I have found myself buying Hadley Roma straps lately. Out of Largo Florida. Nice quality, reasonable prices.

Be careful what you wish for...
You might end up spending enough on straps for a new watch. ;)
Check out the Panerai forums. Paneristi love their straps just slightly less than their watches.
