Greetings from South Korea
Hello, from the land of the morning calm, although it isn't that calm in Seoul. Been into watches for a long time now and recently purchased at vintage Rolex 1500, got a great deal on it and actually looks like new!
Hopefully this is my first of many to come, already eyeing a submariner I saw the other day... damn this "virus". Although my collecting isn't as impressive, yet, as many I've seen.. behold!! Tag Heuer Auqaracer chrono (automatic), Rolex Date 1500, cal. 1570 and a Tissot PRC 200 (quartz) |

Thank you all for this warm welcome! I'm sure I will have a wonderful time on TRF, especially with so many fellow passionate watch enthusiast and tons of knowledge! First on the list is to know more about the Submariner, which has been one of my all time favorites.
@ BLSampson: I myself live in Aeogae, that's a roughly 15 min. drive from Itaewon and of course I know that area. Although born in Korea, I was brought in the Netherlands and I need to have my fair share of western food and atmosphere every once in a while. Who are your relatives? The foreign community is 'relatively small' (apart from the English teachers). |

Hi JS,
My wife is Korean, hence my relatives are Korean. They own a couple of stores in Itaewon. One cousin is "The Bag Man".
