Impulse Puchase - First Lange
So I stopped by my AD on a slow Thursday to check out a new addition to their pre-owned inventory. I've been waiting for a new lange 1815 up/down in wg, which was probably a few months away, but ended up jumping on this instead. Very excited to have a lange in my collection!

If you're gonna have a impulse buy, might as well make it a Lange! Congrats, looks awesome. Case back shots please?

Great buy. I like the tachymeter scale on the older 1815 Up/Down compared to the latest model. Certainly what I will look for if I have the opportunity to buy and 1815.

Oops, it's the Flyback Chrono (drool)! Not the Up/Down. Even better!

Love the vintage-looking coloration. Very VERY nice. Is it an auto, or manual like the 5170?

Congrats! The version of the 1815 chrono you picked up is one of my top favorite Lange reference. Enjoy in good health!

Thanks for the compliments everyone! Is the photo upside down? Looks right on my iPad. I guess to clarify, I was planning to buy a bnib 1815 up/down which my AD had on order for me (was expected in December), but I switched to the chrono when it popped up in their pre-owned section. So I guess the impulse was switching to the chrono (which was about the same price as the new up/down) when I saw it yesterday, not buying a lange in general.
Will do a quick write up and post more pics this weekend |
