The BEST model to come out of Rolex in recent times - end of story!!

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is in my very honest opinion, the BEST model to come out of Rolex in the last 2 years - no bloody ifs or buts about it!!

J.J. that is the one I own and I absolutely love it. I got it before the latest price increase so my wife is happy about that. There is nothing that I do not like about the watch. It is classy and rugged at the same time. The gold is a lot of bling, it keeps good time, the ceramic bezel is sharp looking and surrounded by the 18K gold, and the clasp is fabulous.

Thanks for the praise of my favorite Rolex.

I respect your opinion (and your photography) but when I look into the magic watch mirror... "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the most beautiful Rolex of them all?" I still see Bluesy. I've wanted Bluesy for so long but couldn't pull the trigger because I just couldn't justify the price. So I kept buying Citizen and Breitling sport watches telling myself they did the same thing at a fraction of the price. The Chrono Avenger M1 came close but ultimately none of those watches totally filled the Bluesy void. Now that I have her I'm love struck. So I'm sorry JJ. You are probably right, forgive me, I'm just in love...again.

Hate to disagree with my friend from NZ but both my wife and I were unimpressed with the GMT IIc 2 tone when I tried one on in NYC. The ceramic just didn't stand out as far superior compared to my aluminum insert model. I was a bit surprised how underwhelmed the new GMT left me. Thought it would sweep me off my feet.

No worries, Norm. For starters, that is not my picture....just one I borrowed from some place on the net.

The Blue Sub is still the best out there and would give the one pictured above a run for the money and stunning looks!!

You might be right, I've never seen the TT one in real life. But I've seen the SS and it's beautiful! I wanna buy one here from the FS forum, and I'm not sure I'm the YG kinda guy :P

In a similar kind of concept I have this one:
(but I got used to it, wearing it for 7 years; and now it spends most time in the drawer or I am wearing it in bed to read the time during the night due to its high luminosity)

Beautiful watch, Minas. I remember when this model was first introduced about 12 years ago, it was declared as the first watch whose Chrono pushers could actually be activated under water!!

Amazing watch.....that baby will live on forever!!

Thank you JJ

I don't know why but I don't give it its deserved attention after I bough my first Rolex DJ and got the "Rolex virus"...maybe some day I 'll be using it more again...
Sometimes I am thinking of selling it towards getting a new Rolex; not really need the £ but I feel bad about owing too many watches. But I gues it would be a mistake to sell it and I might regret later, what do you think?

Anyway, this is the reason I didn't buy the GMT-IIc that you posted above; it would be too much to own two Bi-Metal Sport watches.
Otherwise, it would be already in my collection

Please don't sell that OMEGA, Minas.

Two reasons:

1. You'll get bugger all for it.

2. It's one of a kind and not very common to find nowadays. Give it some more wrist time along with a bit of tender, loving care and you should be right!!

Minas,

That is a beautiful watch and looks like you kept it in perfect condition. I was never a fan of Omega till I came to TRF recently and now I am beginning to appreciate them.
