Trust Capetown in Atl? (No original papers important??)
I'm trying to pick up some DJs for the wifey and I, I've been through all the trusted sellers and coming up empty, one is on the lookout for us.
We need a ladies datejust or a midsize with either a white with Romans or blue with Romans dial, and I'm looking for a 16200 white with Romans, The question is have any of you dealt with Capetown in Atlanta? I see that have some recommendations on here, I called and dealt directly with Jonathon. They have exactly the watches we are looking for and can do a seemless trade in on a explorer I I'm gonna part with, my only hesitation is hardly any of their older watches come with original Papers?? Should I go with them without papers since they are 2 hours from my house...? Or keep looking to find same watches with papers? Thanks ! |

I've had email exchanges with them and they were very responsive. As for original papers - it all depends what you're planning to do. You don't have to worry about authenticity as they are brick and mortar and well known. The only reason for a full kit would be if you had thoughts about reselling it down the road- generally that will add to the value.

I personally don't buy a Rolex watch without box and papers. It's my preference. You should expect to pay less if they are missing.

Never mind! The fabulous Neil (jizeal) has come through again! Hopefully two matching DJs are headed my way this week! I'll do a incoming post when they ship ;-)
Whoo hoo standby for incoming! |

Pay less without papers, get less when you sell.
