Surely not
Look at the UK prices on the sub models vs the new DD2 in this link. A sub equivalent to a DD2? I know it is all gold as well but.. wow!!

Well, I think it will be interesting to see the prices posted in the US
The 26,220GPB for the platinum DD equals almost $52,000, then deduct about 20% for VAT and fudge factor and you still have a 40,000 dollar watch.. For the White Gold DD and Sub at 15,500GBP... Well, they're both WG and the Sub has the ceramic while the only thing extra the DD has is the date. I expect that they are comparable. Doing the math we see about a $31,000 dollar price, minus the 20%VAT and fudge, and you still see ~$24,000 bucks as a list price for either one.. With the DD now at 41mm, my money would go for the WG DD with white dial and blue hands first, and the WG Sub second
