A little something I made while in vacation

Hi everybody

I made a little something I could only find time to complete while I was on vacation. Took me longer than expected but the end result is spot on.

Hope you enjoy. It is now part of the living room.

Cheers

Dom

It's not a painting, and I am far from an artist. I used a picture of the actual one in the museum in Switzerland, worked the image for hours to obtain the details I wanted. The rest is where all the work really is and what makes it so close to the real one.

I am opened to selling some or at least doing some more of them, it is truly beautiful but it takes a lot of time and it is far from cheap to produce. Devil's in the details and there are many. I am really happy with the end result to say the least.

I might in fact decide to make others but I will for sure not make many more but I wouldn't mind sharing with others. More to come on this in the next days.

You you've got me thinking...

Thanks everybody for all the kind words, it is truly appreciated.

As I have received many request for more, a lot more than I ever expected, I might make couple more but I really do not intend to make many. I wanted something original and not something that could be sourced easily. Still thinking about the possibility of others, I will let you all know.

The Mrs is in love with it as it doesn't say out loud what it is in reality. I can say that everybody that came home had no clue what it was and what it was representing. I think it is only a WIS thing ;)

Cheers everybody !

Yes I see that now, I made the mistake of replying before reading any replies, (a lesson for the future).
