So how many STUPID questions can we expect from owners of the new SDDS? LOL!!

Weekend here, guys....so let's have some fun!!

How many silly questions can we expect from over-enthusiastic owners of the new DEEP SEA SD?

I can betcha my Platty someone's gonna come up with: Is it okay to wear it in a spa?

Well judging some of the questions we all ready get on TRF

1.Can I wear my Rolex DS watch in the shower.

2 Is it safe to wear my Rolex DS in the rain.

3.Is safe to wear my Rolex DS while jogging

4 Is it safe to wear my Rolex DS while playing Golf etc.

5.If I have to store my Rolex DS watch is it best to seal it
in in a humidified proof safe.

6. Can I sleep with my Rolex DS on my wrist or could I damage it
if I fell out of be

7. What is the best shampoo to wash my Rolex DS in and
can you get a special Rolex towel to dry it on.

8.Will un-screwing the crown to wind my Rolex DS wear out the threads and winding crown.

9. Salt water is corrosive so will sea water harm my Rolex DS.

10.Is it best to cover bracelet with tape just encase I
scratch it and will the tape harm the S.steel

well, my comment is: it's a great looking watch, but how could anyone have bought one ALREADY??? where would they be available other than in Basel, Switzerland?
best, dan

p.s. if you look at the watch while you're driving will it tend to get you into an accident?

I was just hypotheticating on how future SDDS buyers would react once they had acquired the watch, Dan!!

Why ?

Why does my new Deep Sea have this hideous writing on the chapter ring which is :

1. Completely unnecessary and useless to the owner
2. Is an ugly stain on an otherwise good looking watch
3. Makes the dial look very busy & pedestrian in design (unlike a nice clean PP, IWC or other)
4. Removes the timeless effect the older tool watches have and makes it seem clumsy

why ?

The question which will annoy me the most will be...

"I've just got the call for a Deep Sea. How much will it be worth...should I buy it or invest in unit trusts/precious metals/property etc?"

Or....

"I've just got the call for the DSSD. However I hate it. It's damn ugly and it should be consigned to Rolex Hell. Who wants to buy it. Only $1500 above list?"

Is it safe to wear in high humidity climates?
Will I have to have my safe re-inforced? (to accomodate the weight)
Will my left bicep be bigger than my right?
Do you shower with yours on? Is it safe?

How about this one:

Is the power reserve in the SDDS enough to get me through all of the decompression stops from 4000 ft down?!?

-I just found streaks on my Deep Sea dial, should I send it to RSC

-Should I buy the Deep Sea now before the price increase or wait and see if they introduce "The Abyss" (deeper sea) at Baselworld

-Do you think the Deep Sea looks too big on my 6 3/4" wrists

Is it safe to wear my SDDS when travelling in foreign countries?
Is it OK to wear it when washing my car?
How much will this watch appreciate in 10 years time?

I think a good ol' fashion TRF poll is in order.

If you live in Canada you can take the bracelet off and use the case for a hockey puck!
