New Ride!

Been MIA for a bit on the watch forums. Just picked up this beauty from Colorado and drove it back to Los Angeles!

Unfortunately, California is a stickler about modified cars and California Highway Patrol has been all over me.

Nice pickup man! I think it's the only Japanese car that actually appreciates in value over time.

That's interesting, considering that California is known for: hot rods, speed shops, and customs.

In CA for cars from 1975 or older you are in the clear. Anything newer than that you are under California DMVs super strict regulation.

Thanks Marc! I thought about going that route, but the driving it around the streets at that point would be a PITA. Im happy with the current 500hp set up.

I have always liked these.
One of a small number of genuine high performance grey imports that are plentiful here as well.
Enjoy!

True, its not really the supra though. A hybrid called an FT-1 that is in conjunction with BMW.

Rumors say the car will had a 4cyl turbo with an electric motor...... which takes me off the list for the purchase :)

Having helped my father years ago rebuild a 400 engine and then dropping it in an Oldsmobile 442, I thought I knew a little about engines. ... I can't even see one in that pic:) wow how things have changed.
Nice car !!!
If you dont have one already pick up a Valentine 1 radar detector...
