Great pair. I owned the U2 and (black dial) SOLO and loved both of them. Well made, accurate, comfortable and versatile.

I guess I understand where you're coming from but it's not something that bothers me. I do suppose beyond the Supermarine they will need to add a few other models that aren't "pilot' or "aviation" derived

Yes it is a Bremont strap! It is one of the most versatile straps they make! It looks good on almost all of their watches! Jim
