Question re: end pieces...

Hi guys, new to the vintage side of things but am excited to have picked up a 16760 "Fat Lady". It came on a strap, but I managed to secure a 93150 bracelet, which I'm told will fit? My end links though are 580 which DO NOT fit. What end pieces are best for the 16760? I have seen 501, 501b, and 593 all listed as o.k. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Keith.

My chart indicates 593 and both 16760s that I own have 593 end links.

I'm up for new info can you post the chart?

The one I have was proliferated a while back but it's not official.

I went and had the AD order for my 16750 the other day and 550's were on this chart and that is also what RLX specified for model and serial.

Mine is not official! Also, I believe there are a couple charts in the reference section that list 593. Both of mine have 593 links so I have no reason to suspect that they are not correct since they fit very well. I believe the 593 end links were also used on the transitional 16800 Submariner.

The 550 end links are for a Jubilee bracelet.

I know the 550 are for jubilee...that's what I was ordering the ends for. :-) Ends for both bracelets are listed on the chart I have. It was only for example to corroborate the chart.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought the dealer was trying to sell you 550's for the Oyster bracelet.

I believe the chart below is an "official" chart from Rolex. I also show the same info in a couple non-Rolex reference books.

Since we are talking end links I have a pair of 502's which I believe are for the fat lady jubilee with lug holes. Are both the 502 B and 502T for the jubilee without lug holes?

Ah but you see....the 501 does work for the 16760....as well as the 593...either would fit exactly the same. One is for the 78360 and the other is for the 91350. There really is not any difference on that end of those bracelets.

Thanks for the photo...this is very helpful for the files !

Yes it is good that the AD was not trying to sell me jubiliee links for the oyster LOL. This is where it is best to play dumb and just show them the watch the bracelet the serial and the model...then Rolex can say what is to go on it...and hopefully they also get it right :p)

Thanks guys! It sounds like the 501 end links will work for my 93150.
Best, Keith.

I will agree that there may be a subtle difference between the bracelets at the link that connects to the end pieces. This could be the difference in the designation. I can't see it but I never looked that closely. There are many subtleties...even in parts that look identical...for instance the clasp cover...on a 91350 is different than the 91353 18 pre gold through the clasp. They look the same but they won't fit up.

In lieu of the chart...just to make sure I would try for 593's.

He has a point. There could be some difference in the bracelets. I haven't seen it myself but I would go with the chart.

I just tried a set of 501 end links on the 93150 bracelet and attached it to the GMT II 16760.

In comparison, the 501 end links fit as well as the 593 end links.

I also placed a set of 580 end links to the 93150. The bracelet did not fit properly and the spring bars would not go through the lug holes.

Thanks, I couldn't get the 580 pieces to work at all either.
Best, Keith.

I am considering a 16760 Fat Lady. It comes with a 91350 and 593 end links. I assumed it is not the correct bracelet, but the date stamp on the bracelet itself K7 dates it same as the watch. Is it possible the 91350 w 593 end links came with this watch originally? It looks like it's in untouched original condition, so I'm hoping this might be the case.

593 end links for the 93150 is what the Rolex book lists for the 16760 GMT II. I've included a photo from the book in an earlier post.
