How about Boeing 787. Has anyone flown on that yet.

I here it's pressurized better so you feel better after a long flight, something like 2000ft less then any other aircraft

Not yet but I really like the design of the Dreamliner

The lower the ceiling of the pressurazation the better

SJ30 (Private Jet) is at sea level !

Time to retire those 757 and MD 80's. Going on 40 years for the MD 80. I think AA is phasing them out for newer 737-900 and Airbus 321T

I remember the 757 flying in to LAS in 1984 or 1985, almost time for those nasty thing to go to, flys pretty fast though, I do like those big engines winding up on take off.

And some airplanes are actually a piece of junk

Not the maintenance but the interiors are all really beaten up

I've flown both and love them both for different reasons! I normally fly business so the comfort thing becomes irrelevant after my friend Jack Daniels comes into play!!

I have been in a fight several times with JD when I was younger and I didn't know better at that time . . . ;)

He always hit me really hard in my head . . . . especially the next day

For all of the drawbacks of those small regional jets I will say that they are quiet and those Rolls Royce engines make takeoff easy. Unlike when I board an old Southwest 747 and feel like the fuselage is coming apart upon liftoff.

IMHO, all pure fly by wire aircraft should be equipped with ejection seats for when the computer locks up.

In my best Dr. McCoy voice... Darn it Jim! I'm a pilot not a computer programmer.

While I've never walked off an Airbus just because, I do like the fact Boeing doesn't take "The computer is always right" approach. That being said, it was a cool video. It's always interesting to see how something of that size and scope is manufactured.
