At the bank today...
I wasn't sure if i would share this story... and then i thought what the hell!!!
I was at the bank today and I caught the teller (approx. 25 year old gorgeous brunette that had her blouse slightly revealed) staring at my GMT. She then asked (with a smile on her face)... "would i offend you if I asked asked if that is a REAL?" My reply was (with a smile on my face and looking down at her chest) "would you be offended if I asked if those were real?" We both had a good chuckle!\ I was about to ask her out and then I noticed an engagment ring Oh well, at least I got a funny story to share with you guys. |

Wow, that doesn't happen everyday. Good move on asking "if its real or not."
Nice story, she must really love Rolexes too if she asked about your GMT like that. I hope she finds this forum and signs up.

The wife and I saw an open house this past weekend and the Sales Person (male) who conducted the Open House said "nice Rolex" when looking at the GMT.
He was selling a fairly expensive house and said the first thing he looks at are the watches when meeting someone. It doesnt mean a whole lot, dont judge a book by its cover but it gives him some sort of comfort level I guess. He didnt know the model name (GMT) but I gave him a crash course in Rolex. I guess most sales people want to have a Rolex, a status symbol. Great marketing on the part of Rolex, huh? Don |

This situation would not work for me, the teller would say:
"If that is a real Rolex - then why do you only have $38 dollars in your checking account??" Sean
