I bought a Sea Dweller about a month ago. The seller was a three hour drive from me, so I drove down to meet his wife at an AD. Great price, great watch and a safe transaction. Jonathan

Yes, all of my eBay watch purchases have been at least decent.

I've had an excellent ebay Rolex transaction. But, I do my best due diligence on the seller. As has been said many times, your buying the seller as much as your buying the watch.

Same. You got to do the homework, which includes taking mandatory advice from this forum
If possible, do a face to face deal and get the piece authenticated at an RSC or AD before money changes hand. |

I have bought nearly 100 watches thru ebay in the past 2 or 3 years.
five turned out to be fakes.I received a refund on all but two.just remember, the more money you are saving-the more likely there is something wrong with your deal! hope it helps p.s. I would not buy any tudor subs right now without definite professional opinions!! |

Yeah i have bought a few only one rolex, but i tend to look through the guys feedback, see what he usually sells etc to make sure they are a sound seller. Also i will almost always only use paypal to pay- as it is safe. I am not a great fan of paypal but the more you read about all these scam it is clear that it is pretty safe All of them have been good buys and genuine

I really wish that I can do a face to face but sadly I'm half a globe away. I live in a beautiful island called Guam
