I can't take those awards seriously.
I've had so many beers from Mikkeller, Evil Twin, Nøgen Ø, Cantillon, de Molen etc. and none of the beers listed in the awards come close to what the aforementioned breweries can pull off. And not to be too much of a downer, but what does this have to do with Rolex again? Wouldn't this be better posted in the "What are you drinking?" or "Rolex and Beer" threads?

I do think the best beers come from Belgium and Germay.

How can they say the best, when everyone has different tastes? That being said I'm sure its great beer.

It's ok but to be honest . . . . not the best
The best beer in Belgium is actually Westvleteren But it became a hype and price skyrocketed and there's not that much production Liquid gold. . . So for me the best beers are 1. Westmalle Tripel 2. Orval 3. Chimay Just my .02 |

I dare say these awards have the impartiality of FIFA in selecting world cup venues....
The best beer is the one you like. For me in Australia I am Coopers man, Vintage, Dark, Stout and Pale Ale serve me well.

Best is subjective. The best one is the next beer to be drunk by me. The second best is the one I just drunk.

STeak And Gravy all the way!!!!
About as useful as a "best beer" list. Any food/beer is so taste specific. To that person that day, one was the best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Despite stiff competition from Stone Ruination, Stone Black IPA, Stone Pale Ale, Lagunitas IPA, San Miguel Pale (Philippines), Du Claw Sweet Baby Jesus, Kingfisher lager (India) and Tsingtao (China) I'm happy to declare Anchor Steam as the best beer in my fridge today!!
