I was bitten.....
.....by the Panerai Bug. Was wanting a GMT 88 for my first one but the local dealer called today and got a few in. (A few as in 2!) I go look and she has a metal bracelet, don't know the number, wasn't interested, and this one which is out of my price range for a first Pam. Then she said "I can do better than that, hold on a minute." I'm thinking "no way" cause I haven't bought one thing from these people and this was only my second visit to the store and I hear no one discounts them. So she comes back with (I don't know how she came up with this one) but 19% off!!!!! So I say "SOLD!" and she even throws in a Panerai brown croc strap! Oh, I guess I still haven't said which one I got. Here are the step by step photos.
Enjoy. Edit: She said they did have a Daylight. If any one is interested shoot me a pm. Don't know which # but can find out first thing in the morning and they do ship. |

Wow Danny that is great man. I was looking at this watch in a magazine just 12 hours ago and thinking to myself, "Geez now that's a very cool looking Paneraii chrono"
You must be very happy with that purchase, well done with a huge discount too! Regards

Sweet watch. I have it's little brother, the 212.
That split second timer is too cool.

This strap came with two "attachments".
The skull , and a maltese cross. THere is a hole in the strap, and the two doo-dads have screw on backs, so it fits nice & tight without wobbling around. I have the strap makers info at home if your interested. I think the Skull goes best with my bike though.

panerai
That's a good looking watch. I've been wanting to get one(regular GMT, not chrono) but contemplating.
I heard some people suggested me to choose Rolex over Panerai. I already have a SS Daytona and a DJ. But congrats. I envy you. |

John I really like the skull and crossbones. And I'm sure the maltese cross is cool too (I can't see that).
While I really like that, I don't know that I could personally carry it off. I do ride a Japanese Motorcycle, so maybe a Samurai Sword would be better for me Eddie, I still want that Ducati......one day I might find a nice condition s/hand one and save a few 1,000 off retail. I still think I'm too young for a Harley....I mean I need my superannuation payout just to keep a Harley properly maintained.
