Miami Vice fans:

post your photos. Here was me in the 80's doing my Miami Vice thing. Not visible was my TT Datejust, an 80's icon.

Not Miami Vice, but circa 1986. Check out the icon! Except, at the ripe old age of 19, my Rolex said Day-Date even though it only had a date, and ran like a top with a fresh battery.
I still have some of the hair, but the forehead in the old picture is more like a six- or seven head!

As a young police officer in that time period I did sport a Galco shoulder holster while working narcotics task force... no pics though... not that I'd be able to post them anyway... I had hair back then too!

You cut a very Don Johnson figure, my friend.

Hey, being undercover, it makes sense that you aren't in a photo. At least that you know of

Big 80's hair with 'hi-lights', electric blue blazer jacket, white trousers, white shoes and best of British pasty white skin to complete the look.

If I have any photos I can't find them, I can only assume my Mum kept them all and will use them to humiliate me at a suitable occasion.

Watch was a Gucci 3000M which I still have.

Happy days.

Yes, it used to be on BBC1 around the mid to late 1980's possibly early 90's. It was very popular. One of those shows that you had to watch at the time although I'm not sure how well it has dated as I haven't watched it for years. Crockett and Tubbs had to be the coolest guys on the planet around that time.

In 84 i was 27 had longer slicked back hair and rayban sunglasses and looked more like the Colin Farrrell Miami Vice than a Don Johnson version.

WOW. I remember Miami Mice. Thought I'd never see that again

We still have a F512TR in the fam. Does that count?

As an ex LEO, I can attest that the 'Miami" style holster is seriously uncomfortable, IMO.

There were no ties on Miami vice.

Didn't that store bring us the "chess king" store and members only jackets.

Ugh fashion nightmare

Hah I had a members only jacket! We were also wearing Jams, Vans... all sorts of crazy stuff. I was about 11 in 1985... I think I was sporting a calculator watch of some sort.

At the end of the video only Crockett can pop on the Ray-Bans and never lose one once of coolness.
