Authenticity of this 16710 Pepsi
I m looking for a good condition Pepsi 16710 and came across this piece. It looks great with paper and everything but it's strange that it has a "Swiss made" dial but a non-SEL bracelet, which shouldn't be the case according to http://www.gmtmasterhistory.com/gmt-...ref_16710.html
Any thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Resending the photos. The sides of the links are always polished. The dial is not maxi. The only fishy thing is the Swiss made dial plus non-sel bracelet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Might be an older bracelet. Can you see the clasp code?

The original dial may have been replaced with a superluminova service dial. Happens all the time.

It almost looks like the GMT Hand is behind the hour hand...

The GMT hand IS under the hour hand...but, the hand placement is a clever way to hide that fact.

Seems that the GMT hand is underneath the hour hand --> fake.
The way the hands are positioned is very suspicious - most likely to hide that fact. |
