Rolex Clasp Codes

Do gold Rolex have a clasp code to date the watch? If not how can you determine date without taking off the bracelet?

That's a wonderful clasp code list but on a gold Rolex the clasp looks like this.

Look on the other flat bar part of the clasp Sub Mon. There should be three digits.

I see it on the President. Is it AD9?

Look at the flat bar on the Submariner, and see if there is a bracelet code there, and let us know.

I wish I could but I don't have the watch anymore.
