Rolex Crown Logo On The Glass
I think it's not discussed before . Well, It's not a big deal but I would like to learn from experts why some models in Rolex there is a subtle hard to spot Rolex Logo where it is at 6 o'clock and on some models not
For instance: My DATEJUST II as the image illustrates there is no logo , nor is it SS YM II .Unlike these two GMT MASTER II BLNR has got the tiny Rolex Crown Logo whereon it corresponds at that VI or 6 o'clock

It's called an LEC (laser etched crown) and they are kinda hard to see without some type of loupe or magnifying glass. I can see mine perfectly without any of those things but you have to position the watch a certain way to see it. Keep moving the watch around and sooner or later you'll find it. Trust me, your datejust has a LEC on the crystal. If you can't see it with your eyes then just buy a cheap loupe and you'll definitely see it for sure

Damn that works good. Thanks for the tip
I saw it before but really had a hard time finding it. With the LED lights you can see it very clear

It took me 3-months and two different magnifying glasses to finally find mine on my Polar 216570.

Yup! For others who can't see theirs, depending on the light situation, dim the lights where you're at if possible, then use a LED light and find the right angle. The LEC is there.

Another method is to place a drop of water on the 6 o' clock region and hold under bright sunlight ... water acts as a magnifier and it becomes very easy to spot the LEC. I used this technique here:

Position your cell phone light at the top of your watch, facing away from the six o clock position. I've found this is the best way for it to show up, and plus you won't blind yourself. I hope this helps.

Even with my reading glasses on I cannot see them, LED or not. Camera does not capture for me with or without LED flash. Only with an 8x loupe and good light can I find the crown.
