Starting to consolidate
I used to own at one point 10 watches of various brands, I have sold some and used those funds for non watch related things, but after a few years in the "hobby" I have realized like many, that less is more.
So, I just sold my VC Overseas and have started to promote my Daytona to fund a PP Aquanaut. I will keep the Royal Oak, the Aquanaut, the Speedy and the Vulcain. Although in the future the Vulcain may make way for a Sub, I miss one I used to have and I will probably not be able to be Rolex-less for long. A 114060 or 16610LV would be my choices. I believe many of you have traveled the same path, just wanted to share.

Yes Traveled the same path. It is a wonderful path 19 watches since I have joined the forum. No regrets regarding any I have sold. The 5 remaining are perfect for me and at this moment I want for nothing.
It has been an educational journey that has resolved itself with the sum if 2 rolex and 3 Patek. the cherry on top was finally getting a gold watch, it was a challenge to find one that ticked all my boxes. 5170G. Ps prior to all this I was a 1 watch guy for 20 years, submariner 16613 blue. |
