FP Journe Chronometre Souverain + Collection Pc

FP Journe Chronometre Souverain + Collection Pc

Been Moving things around recently, bought and sold a few watches, tried out some vintage watches, other current models, sold my long standing companion, my Royal Oak, I realized I wanted a really fine gold watch with a wonderfully finished movement, nothing too complicated, but something beautiful that I can wear every single day.

I looked at the usual fair, Patek, Vacheron, Breguet, Lange etc.., I just became enamored with FP Journe, and when I came across the Chronometre Souverain with the Boutique dial, I knew that was the watch for me.

Just wears so nicely, slim and elegant, but a nice modern size at 40mm. The dial is jut so gorgeous, I love the numerals, the hands are just perfect, I can really go on and on, but I will let the pictures to the talking, and honestly, this is the type of watch that would look just as good worn with the movement up.

Here are some poor picks of my collection, would love to hear peoples thoughts on the Journe and my stable. I have my 30th coming up in about 9 months so I’ll likely add something, or maybe sell the Reverso and Seiko to put it towards it, although I really like them both, I inherited the president, and the Milgauss was a gift from my wife, so both will never leave, and I think the Journe is a keeper.

Lovely collection and I think you are right! That Journe is beautiful! Saw it in the nyc boutique, through the climate controlled case

Love the boutique edition Souverain you have there. I think the black dial with RG is such a great combination. Congrats on such a great watch. This souverain and the chronometre bleu are my two favorite FPJs.

I think the TTR 1931 is a keeper, such an iconic and timeless piece. Maybe sell the Seiko but I would personally keep both the FPJ and Reverso and add to your collection.

Thanks everyone for the compliments, I've been pretty much staring at my wrist for the past 48 hours, couldn't be happier, and it's super comfortable.

Thanks, I too am very taken by the Bleu, But I wanted the larger case and the Rose gold is amazing. I'm trying to convince my bother to get the Bleu b

I am kinda leaning towards keeping them both, I just sort of like to not have too many watches, I find I appreciate my watches more when I have less. I think I can add a piece or two though without overwhelming myself.

Very nice. Your FP Journe is your standout - by far. Great acquisition.

The FPJ CS, sorry but in Platinum, is my favourite non date watch.

Congratulations on your choice and your collection.

I like how the plate is broken up into multiple sections to allow more view of the movement.
