IWC 3783 Chrono

Someone has offered me an IWC 3783 at what I consider an attractive price. Any feedback appreciated....good, bad and indifferent. Believe it has an IWC modified Valjoux (ETA) 7750 movement which is a good solid chrono movement, right?

I've had 2 or 3 IWC chronographs with the same movement. I found it to be fairly accurate -/+ 4 sec per day, and pretty robust. These were usually my beater watches and they survived everything. The one thing I didn't love was the pushers. Compared to some higher end chronographs the start/stop and reset felt rough (cheap).

Thanks for your impressions of the IWC chronos.

The modified valjoux movement is not the most prestigious, but it's a proven movement and is a workhorse.

I have a boutique editionn 3777 currently, and the rotor is a bit on the loud side, but otherwise a watch that I quite enjoy wearing. And I agree the pushers are also a bit on the rough side.
