Pam 337 or 512....

Thinking of flipping my Rolex Explorer polar for either a 337 or 512. Anyone here have either watches? Any advice?

Nice choices. 512 will be a bit more substantial on the wrist with the 1940s case lugs, while the 337 has the perk of non-ecru lume (if that matters to you). You will need to buy the 337 better, as it's less popular, so re-sell is probably worse.

Go for 338,it has Ti case that's light,charcoal-y dial and light gold hands which I find more classy than 337 or 512

I prefer this model because it was only produced for a year, which make it more exclusive

Trade

I would keep the polar! If you would like a Panerai, I would suggest a 590 or a 372 if you can handle the size.

I agree with the comment above on the 338. great size if you have a small wrist, gold hands and that titanium case is just so great looking.

But if u really need to choose I'd go for the 337

Between the two I'd choose the 337 (ideally 338). I have the 512 and it is just too thin. I think 337 is a mm thicker and uses a wider strap (26mm vs 22mm). Both of which will make it a more significant watch.

I have the 338 and love it but that 512 looks great! Both your choices have the same movement which I have enjoyed. It's super accurate.

GL!
