A buffet of Rolex

Earlier this month we were in Athens, GA for a wedding. At the reception while going through the buffet table we spotted 5 Rolex subdate (3 SS; TT blk; TT blue). My wife pinched then glanced over to my SS Daytona

Later that same evening while dancing off the alcohol, the Daytona clasp center link got scuffed from the "beaded" belt of my wife dress. Very well worth scratches...those were best dances we ever have...

Next day at Atlanta airport spotted 2 pilots wearing a Pepsi and IIC.

Most public worn Rolex ever seen in 48 hrs.

Thanks never thought of that...very true.

One note about the scratches...didn't even think about it twice. Although the Daytona was just de-plastic 24 hrs earlier.

That's the way to enjoy a Rolex watch, tphan.

I come to TRF once in a while to look for interesting and heroic stories about how Rolex watches survived gruesome and life threatening incidents and events, only to find threads posted by people who turn psycho on their watches....'how to prevent your Rolex from getting scratched'....'i can't sleep because my Rolex is losing 0.00000001 second per day'.....'my skull cracked wide open exposing my brain and all the bones in my body are splintered into pieces in a car accident...but thank God my Rolex is OK'.
