Extra fees totally kill that deal .....
Because the seller participates in the GSP program, the hammer price is just part of it.
With a totally honest shipping declaration (like we all do), final costs for me to buy that bracelet would be ... $270.00 Hammer price $ 24.09 Shipping $ 73.40 GSP fees $ 50.00 Bio-security levy (charged at my end) $ 62.62 GST tax at 15% fee (charged at my end) $ 480.11 Total cost I'm still getting my head around the GSP fees but upon enquiry, three eBay sellers have now told me - Yes I must pay it. This means I avoid all eBay sellers when GSP fees feature in their sales blurb. And 62510H bracelets don't trade for big bucks anyway - I'll buy mine through the forums |

Love the breakdown! Thanks much, Paul.
Mercifully, the last three fees you mention wouldn't apply to me since both the seller and I are in the states. THAT said, is $270 plus shipping reasonable, do you reckon? |

Is $270 a fair price for a US based buyer ...
Quote:
A fella on VRF was asking $380 + shipping for a comparable bracelet just a few weeks back ..... http://www.network54.com/Forum/207673/thread/1418884847 If you can tick all boxes re. authenticity and the eBay bracelet is totally useable as-is, $270 might be a sharp price. Be wary of the seller's claim of minimal stretch though, that is usually why bracelets are swapped off a watch. Add to that a declared problem with the link screws and it may be rebuild time for that bracelet. It's always gonna be a punt with a bracelet like that one - sometimes ya win though |

A heat gun will remove any stubborn screw. Check with the seller and make sure the head isn't damaged preventing the use of a screwdriver.
Price seems reasonable for the listing.
