Hello from Ohio!
Howdy all!
Just joined the club, figuratively and literally! Bought my first Rolex this week, Ceramic Anniversary GMT, and am really diggin it!! Figured I needed to hop on here and see what I could learn. I've always been a PAM man and thought I needed to give Rolex a try. My first impression of the watch is that it has quiet confidence. My Panerai kinda screams "Look at me!! Look at me!!"...this one doesn't have to scream anything. It is a sexy, reputable rockstar. Anyway, not sure if you understand that...just a thought! Nice to be here! Cheers, Jet |

Welcome Jet, congrats on the GMTIIC
We also like Panerai, and I personally have a PAM177. What Panerai do you like/own? The Ceramic GMT has a lot of fans and excels in not just it's looks but it has a very reliable and robust movement.

I have a PAM088 for the moment. Selling it to fund the GMT...unless I can convince my wife otherwise. I REALLLLLY don't want to sell it, but the watchbox is getting full...and she's getting antsy! Says I should have been an octopus...more wrists!

If you were an octopus you wouldn't have been able to afford a Rolex

Hey Jet
I just bought the same watch earlier this week and totally know what you mean. It's elegant and understated but has a strenght and confindence about it at the same time. Good choice! James |
