Help with this Maxi dial before I pull the trigger

Hello

I have been looking for a 5513 maxi dial and finally found one with decent price. Only thing that worries me is the case. It has been polished but still seems quite thick? There are some examples with redone bevels where the spring bars almost comes out from the case but here you can't even see them. Anyhow would love to hear opinion from you experts. Its mk IV and the asking price is 6,860 dollars.

Thanks before hand for all the answers. Its great to have this board to help us beginners.

the case looks thick enough. post some bracelet pictures. ask the seller to open the case to check the caseback and movement.

Also. Would it be wiser to buy an Mk I? I have one offered for 9000€. Similar condition. I don't think I would be comfortable to wear such an expensive watch. But do you think mk 1 is so much nicer than the mk VI that it would justify almost 3000€ price difference?

Well I made the deal already. I think I could start to trust my self more whit these things. Don't bash the watch too hard anymore. :) I'll post some pictures when I get it.

end links is wrong. They should be 580. clasp should be 93150, picture not very clear though. also there is a marking above 93150, that indicates the month and year of the bracelet, it should be about the same year as the case. See if you can get the dealer to change the end links.

mk i for 9000 euro is too much...

Nice maxi 4! Serial Matches. Imo no issue with the bracelet endlink. Could be source easily here. 6.8€ is a very fair price for a example line this now!

Sure, a polished case, but still looks pretty good. The lugs are even and not too thin. Great patina on the dial/hands/insert pearl. Very nice watch. Congrats.
