If you could design your own Rolex...

What would it be?

Me?? I would take the classic Submariner (16610/14060M) case and dial, put a modern ceramic bezel on it, and fit it with the glide-lock bracelet... and just for posterity, would print "SUBMARINER" in red....

GMTIIc - all get legible GMT hands (no more green...)
Glidelock clasp a custom option on all watches if you want to wait for your order from Rolex
1/2 link removable standard on all watches
bring back the green dialed sub with the black face.
make the new GMTIIc BLRO reasonable in price with stainless model

A modern reissue of the panda dial Daytona does sound great.

I think an updated jubilee bracelet on the GMT IIc. I would pull the trigger on that.

I love complications - I'm hoping for a (sensibly priced) moon-phase Rolex from Basel in a couple of weeks.

An ultra-thin datejust, 36mm with moon phase, silver dial, oyster bracelet in stainless steel, domed acrylic crystal, gold applied markers and a cyclops of course.

A modern day version of GMT 6542.
38mm case, sapphire bezel, gilt dial, etc

SS Daytona with black ceramic bezel and black ringed sub-dials like the Zenith Daytona had.

That would be sh*t-hot. I would flip my 116520 in a heartbeat for that.

I would live to see a GMT with a white dial and a ceramic bezel. Blue red or blue white possibly.

They could but traditionally the white face GMT has been a rare gift to executives of Pan Am. If they did a whiteface GMT I would imagine it would PM or very limited. I just don't think they make this historically exclusive design and put it out for mass production.

That being said the white face GMT is a grail and I would love a white face GMT.

I'd like to see a return to the Air King. It was originally a big watch made for Allies Air Pilots, I'd like to see it re-released as a big watch for fighter pilots -- 44mm no date. Misc wish list: Platinum Sub Platinum GMT, Platinum SkyD. Curved Sapphire for the entire crystal on the SD.

DJ II 116334, everything is perfect but I would love to make it 44 MM in size
BLNR, keep as is but size would be 44 MM
I don't have a 326938 SKY DWELLER but I want to say a few thing on it as it is my grail watch
I would make it bigger so as to keep GMT ring in aligned well from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock position and add markers in numbers like slate dial DJ II models
