CMCM3 does London
Ok so I was in London for the past two days and managed to find time between meetings and drying myself off/applying deodorant, to visit a few watch-places. First off was Selfridges, which actually has a really good watch section. In here I tried on a Bell & Ross BR 01-94 Blue. I fell in love with it... Such a cool watch, and so much chunkier than I had expected from the photos. Then I ended up in another shop, then name of which I cannot remember, trying on a Royal Oak. Again, super cool, amazing quality and I want one so bad now. Shame about the price tag!!! Finally I had a quick walk through the Burlington arcade and there were some absolute beauties on display. Red Subs, James Bond Subs, Double Red Sea Dwellers, a couple of Milgauss GV's, plenty on modern Daytonas and a number of vintage Daytonas, with Newman faces & similar (I am not 100% sure what defines "Newman" but they were all similar in looks so I will call them Newmans!!)
Anyway, a lovely watch-spotting distraction from the ridiculous heat, and the fact I was actually down on business. |

It sounds like you had a great day in London!
Pics would have been nice, though.

Bo, you may have seen my attempts at photographing my own watches in the comfort of my living room. If so, you will appreciate why there are no photos forthcoming...
I love that B&R, but I don't know if its a bit comedy/novelty/whatever for £3,700... |
