POLL: GMT Master II. BLNR VS LN - Which for a daily wearer?

Have to start off by saying that I do not own too many watches yet.
This Rolex is one that I plan on wearing often, as I only have one other watch.

Considering that I want a daily wearer, one that I can pull off with shorts, casually, going out with friends, etc. I do not wear suits almost ever, so it is not really for a dressing up purpose, but I think both could work even if I did want to use it for such an occasion.

I have nailed it down to the GMT Master II, just not sure which.
Which would you recommend..

Nice poll.... I'm in the same position as you with which watch to choose. I only wear a suit maybe 2-3 times a year. the rest is casual jeans and tees.

I guess we can both benefit from this then.
The black(LN) has a more powerful look to it IMO, but the blue stands out a little more in a unique way.
I'm currently leaning more towards the LN.

I think the BLNR may be a sought after watch and therefore more valuable years from now after it is discontinued. I like both very much but with that said I prefer the LN for daily wear.

That said, LN prices are pretty low right now if you don't buy new. Probably the best current model Rolex bargain out there.

Based on your requirements and lifestyle, the BLNR would the one to go for. Don't get me wrong, the LN and BLNR are both fantastic references, but I feel the BLNR suits casual wear just a bit better than the LN because of the addition of blue to the bezel.

BLNR for daily cos wouldn't care about it. LN for dressing up cos it looks sharper. If you really want to dress up 116713.

BLNR is very versatile and works in any occasion. In the day depending on the sunlight, the blue has a nice hue while at night the blue blends in and looks black. Weekdays is business casual and a suit when I have meetings with clients and it’s shorts and T-shirts on the weekend with the family. Best of both worlds and a great daily watch that puts a smile on my face

Either watch will work just fine with casual clothes. In fact, just about any Rolex will. Get the one that speaks to you the most!

Well, I made my choice...honestly...unless you don't like blue it was a no brainer. And half the time you can't even really see the blue...it just kind of blends into the black and creates a kind of gray/silvery tone....I never get tired of this watch...tho I've only had for 2 weeks...hah.

LN for one watch, BLNR for collection. I like (and have) BLNR better.

I had to make the same decision 5 months ago, went with the BLNR.
Way more versatile, and the watch has like an insane amount of blue shades.
In bright sunlight it's like light blueish, under normal conditions it's more matte blue and during the evening its black/grey.

You can even use it as a "black lunette" if you turn the bezel sideways and tuck the blue part under your sleeve ;)

Agree. While the LN is timeless, I feel like it's a little bland for my liking. This is probably the reason why I own the LVc vs. the LN sub as well. The BLNR makes it pop that much more.

Agree, love the day/night idea on a GMT, and tho the BLRO looks better to mine eye, there's no doubting the BLNR has the right colour representations.

Had both...miss the LN.
