114060 vs 116610 case thickness

Anyone know if the 116610 SubC date case is thicker than the 114060 SubC case??

Are you positive ?

Because I'm pretty sure that the 14060 was slimmer than the 16610.

Don't know if the 3130 and 3135 movements are the same thickness, but it wasn't the case with the 1570 and 1575 of the older generation of Subs.

Thats quite true no parts were interchangeable with the 14060 or 14060M with the 16610,the 14060 case size even bezel insert were different. Now not a 100% sure about the 114060 size compared to the 116610, just cannot see the point of having a different case size when going ceramic.Regarding the movement the cal 3130 is a cal 3135 without the date complication.

Yes very positive, they should both be exactly 12,7mm.

If they vary in thickness, it is unnoticeable. I have worn both and they are pretty much identical except for the date and cyclops on one. If the 116610 is thicker than the 114060, then it would be by mere fractions of a mm.
