Next piece for me....... Opinions
I know a very personal decision but looking for opinions..... I currently have a red/black GMT II silver bracelet, date just silver bracelet, IWC ingenieur, and Cartier tank in my arsenal
Although I'm starting to get the itch again and have been moving around a lot on what I want. I know my list will have a mix between dress and sport but all opinions welcome!! 1. PP Calatrava, leather strap, yellow gold 2. Daytona two tone w/ black face 3. Panarai luminor marina 1950 3 days silver bracelet 4. Jlc reverso 5. Other I'm leaning towards the Daytona as I don't have a nice two tone yet and like the look. How common is the watch? I went through a lot of the pics in this section and it didn't seem like a lot of you guys have one so curious if it's a taste thing or just not a solid piece? Thanks for all your thoughts! |

Wanted to also add..... Budget would be $15k and under, ideally closer to 10k and used is fine.

i agree wait for basel. Never have seen a calatrava under 15k. Can you get one that cheap? Rumors of a ceramic bezel daytona coming? Could be the one for you!

My other watch was a Cartier Santos which I lost a few months ago.
I then bought a SubC and I do miss the Santos. I may buy a Santos again. |

If you're thinking the TT Daytona, the panda dial is the one I would recommend.

I'd flip the Tank and get a Reverso.

I'd suggest a chronograph, i.e. Daytona TT.
Get a Reverso in the future should you opt to flip the Tank. |

Wait until you're not moving around so much on what you want. Kick the tires some more until a clear winner emerges for you.
