Florida and a Blue Sub

85 degrees and drinking at an outside bar. Getting ready to have a Romeo Y Julieta Corona. Dominican Version that is. Sorry to rub it in to those dealing with snow today!

Love the now discontinued lapis dialed ceramic submariner VS sunburst

After deciding which dial, I am glad on my choice. I could not decide what the exact color/contrast was on this now discontinued dial had until I saw a lapis dial on a older day-date.

"Lapis lazuli /ˈlępɪs ləˈzuːliː/ or /-ˈlęʒuːlaɪ/ (sometimes abbreviated to lapis) is a deep blue semi-precious stone"

That's just mean. Still snowing here and temperatures dropping into the single digits. 25 more years until I retire so save me a seat at the bar!

Perfect combo!
Will be joining you guys this summer. I'm looking forward to a bluesy on my wrist and three seasons, instead of four.

Nothing beats living in Florida and a Submariner is the perfect watch to have here. One of the reasons I bought my Sea-Dweller.

Hopefully, I will join you in Florida in a couple of weeks. I lack your flare with a blue dial; definitely a great color for the Sunshine State.
