Real or Fake Tudor Oyster Date
Hi guys I am considering purchasing this Tudor and replacing the crystal myself. My first question would be is this authentic? The only serial numbers the seller is able to provide me with is 6248-19 which he said is on the watch (not sure where). My next question would be is it worth it? The seller is asking 500 but says he is negotiable. So is it a good idea?

Do you have the proper tools to remove the bezel and pressing the crystal and bezel?
I once was about to buy a watch like that but since it was vintage and the crystal was cracked I've noticed a lot of corrosion to the movement. |

Pieces of broken crystal could have got into the movement through the date window, so you'll need a full service anyway, at which time the crystal will be replaced for you. I would avoid it in that condition.
