Dssd vs tt ceramic gmt

Heading to the ad to try em on to make my final decision

I'll be buying used, but they are always nice because I bought other watches there and wife's watch gets serviced there.

Anyways. .. opinions? I do like the idea of tt, but that big ol deep sea is so Beautiful

Just wanted to talk it out while I decide. Tt will cost about 1k more but both hold value well, and after what I went thru having to sell my last watch, I hope to never sell again

had both. the DSSD is awesome but not for everyone. the GMT is very sharp!!

I would probably go TT if my only watch

I had/have the same dilemna.....I love the 44mm size of the DSSD, but it just sits so high. And I love the look of the TT GMT, but is it too "blingy"? Now if Rolex made a 42 mm SeaDweller.........

Tough call and u guys are correct it will be my only watch. . In the future I could see myself trying to find a beat around older no date, but I'm iffy on that. . Hard call here with a lot of cash at stake

I think the TT GMT would be a slightly safer bet in that role.

I should add also. .. I'm not a dress clothes worker, my days are in a tshirt so no cuff worries. My daily jewelry as it were is a platinum wedding band, and a 14k yellow gold bracelet which is not large and is my deceased mothers necklace (seen in my avatar), neither clash with tt or stainless imo

well after the local ad trip to help make the final decision it seems to me that the deep sea is probably better for what I want and either way I dress and live

Count me as a vote for the DSSD. Love it as a daily wearer (if it fits you)

I like the GMT better, but it sounds like the DSSD has won this round...so congrats in advance.

For me, it would have been the TT GMT, but if you can pull off the DSSD, then go for it. It looks like you have made up your mind, so congrats.

I own both as well' ...stunning watches and both bring something different to the table in their own right! .... the deepsea gets wrist time when i'm in a tee-shirt and jeans cos no other watch can look as good if it fits you (7"+ wrists)
the TT GMT II is a gem for those days when smart casual is the order of the day....
wear in good health whatever your final choice.

This^^^ I had and sold the DSSD. In the end, just too thick for me, seemed to bang it on everything, even when I was trying to be careful.

I have both... I had the Stainless steel GMT and the TT back when they first came out... now I just have the all gold... And I also have the Deep Sea... I really like my deepsea... it can be dressed up or down ... well maybe not in a tux but still has great wrist presence... Its usually my daily~
As for fashion I don't dress up much either but that never bothered me as a Rolex can be worn with anything anyways~ So if ur heart is leaning towards the DeepSea... go for it as long as you don't mind a lil weight on ur wrist and the crown pushin up on the roof of ur hand at times Its a GREAT watch and ALOT of watch at that~

Both are great watches but if your wrist suitably fits on the DSSD then that's the one.

Not a TT fan here and the DSSD wears a bit big (but that's a personal thing). I do love the SDc, being a bit smaller and easier to wear and keeping the creds for a tough daily diver...the again i use the GMT function nearly daily, maybe a YG or better yet WG version... Have fun, great place to be...
