Incoming Daytona SS White!

Great transaction with BodyBump on this. I've always wanted a white face Daytona and now I finally have one. I had to sell my 233 Pam off in order to make the acquisition. But take a look at my wrist. I think this size suits me great. It's a bit flashier than I thought, even in my home lighting. I'm a jeans and tee shirt guy, so wondering if this piece will look out of place on me. What do you guys think? Too fancy for a jeans and tee shirts? Or just the right amount of added class without being overboard?

Beautiful watch! Yeah, some flash, but looks great dress up or down.

Sorry to hear about the 233....

Love the white dial Daytona - but I did recently sell mine because I was in the exact same situation as you. With the PCLs and the shiny sub-dials it was simply too much for me to wear casually, and always lost the casual battle to Hulk, Explorer, PO and Speedy. I wore it pretty much exclusively with suits and then thought a DJ2 or Milgauss would be a less expensive watch for something I would not wear most days. I miss my Daytona, but yeah, was hard for me to get over some of the shiny bits sometimes. Zenith subdials seem to help that situation.

Really lovely watch. I think the white dial is great, doesn't make the watch too flamboyant. Enjoy!

Not too fancy at all, I wear a DD with a shiny fluted bezel in jeans and tracksuits all the time.

Thanks guys! I agree, I think i can pull it off. he he
As for my 233, it went to a great home. (Thanks again Pattyb69) I love Pams so I'll need to get another back in the stable soon (thinking an eta model, 005 or something). My Daytona will primarily be my weekend watch while my sub takes the daily shift.
