PROJECT: 18k Florentine Finish removal.
Here's a nice project. I have lots of pics so I'll let them do most of the talking since I hate to type.
A friend bought this 18K gold ladies DJ with Factory Florentine Finish. He got it cheap and figured that maybe I could bring it back to life. He simply hated the look. And the removal of the Florentine begins After some careful reshaping(I was very careful to not distort the shape and size of the watch) it is now time to polish the case. After taking a small break I reassembled the watch with a new diamond bezel and liked what I saw. I think my friend's bezel selection enhanced the watch's appearance by alot. Fresh lugs Notice that the case's size isn't worn down too much. The watch is now being worn by friend's wife and it looks good on her wrist while also being 100% waterproof. I hope you guys enjoyed this. I'll post up another of my projects up tonight. |
