How does Basel change (or not) your '15/'16 purchases?
Well, now that Rolex and Tudor have presented the new models, are you keeping your original purchase plan for this year/early next or has it shifted? (multiple options accepted in poll)

I was really looking forward to a new style Daytona. Then again I think we've all been looking forward to that for a few years now LOL. Bummed about that. Back to the drawing board for me...

...so sticking to same original plan or any of the new models made you think twice?

I was getting very excited about a smurf in 2015. I was waiting for basel to see rumors of sunburst dial. Didn't know if I wanted a sunburst or not, but thought it might affect prices of matte dial, or I might love the sunburst (as I do LVc).
Then the rubber/rg/ym....I really want to see this on in real life. Also really want to know MSRP.

DD40 for me. It will be a ways off though.
I will continue with my SS collection plans until then.

I'm guessing 18-22k. Just a little lower than you. Here's to hoping.

If I went back into dive watches, I've sworn off of them though, it would be the blue Pelagos.
I think this watch is better than a Sub now. - TI Case - Blue bezel (need PM to get that from Rolex) - In-house certified movement; made in the same building as Rolex - Slimmer lugs than a sub - Better engineered micro-adjusting clasp than the sub |

My pocket is thankful. I do however like the Tudor Smurf but not enough to run out and be the first to buy one. I will wait a while and see if it grows on me.

I won't be buying any of the new models, but it does give me hope of a 40mm DJ in the next 2 years!

A blue Pelagos is in my near future. I'll probably flip my 114060 for it.

I have a wow/meh relationship with the EXP I and been thinking of one lately (again) but the chance of seeing a 39mm DJ next year is now something to consider. TBH I'd much prefer a DJ so most probably I'll stay put.

RG YM is a home run for me, so it's definitely on my grail list

with the money saved buying a sub $5k Tudor vs. Rolex this year it will make it that much easier picking up a very slightly loved Glacier DD 40 next year. Three blue years in a row, D-Blue last, Pelagos this & the Platti DD 40 next & keeping my annual average under 20K, LOL

I've been torn with DD1 being too small and DD2 being too big. I really think this DD40 hits the sweet spot!
