Picked up a vintage Heuer Autavia from Alex aka Axjimenez. I looks even better in real life. I paid via paypal, he shipped quickly, and packaged the shipment well.

I would definitely buy from Alex again. Thanks Alex.

Bit of an odd one for me. I contacted Alex with a view to purchasing the same watch. We "agreed" to deal - I say "agreed" in inverted commas because I sent him a quote, to which he replied "deal". However, where emails are concerned, he disappeared off the face of the earth and didn't reply 3 or so subsequent emails from me inquiring as to the status of the "deal" and whether (and more importantly) he was alright or if something had happened to him. I still haven't received anything from him.

Some weeks after our last email exchange, I thought to check TRF and lo and behold, I notice this reference post on the autavia. Make of it what you will, but on other forums this would be viewed with some criticism. That being said, no hard feelings, and the funds I set aside for 2 weeks waiting for his reply have been put to better use.

I have done a couple of face to face deals with Alex.

Alex is a true gentleman and fellow collector!
