Should a new GMT II Coke come with a bezel protector?
Hi,
Picked up a new Z serial GMT II Coke today and after comparing it with my Sub LV I realised that there was no bezel protector on the Coke. As I like to keep all of the "bits" safe should I have one of these. Looking on the For Sale Forum there is at least one GMT for sale that has got one. Cheers, PeterT |

Hmmmmmm, looks like I might need to give the dealer a ring in the morning then!!
I already had them swop over the box to a none dented version! PeterT |

Great news, Peter - congratulations.
Now get your AD to let you have a new undamaged box and the bezel protector (which all models should have) and you'll be sorted.

When my brand new Pepsi was getting wrapped up I noticed the salesperson didn't put the protector on the bezel and needed to ask for it. She got it from the showcase and put it on before boxing the watch. Whew... what a relief.

They all come with one however some ADs throw them away immediately because they are not on the watches when they are being displayed. Hard to save and keep track of.
They only one I ever recieved from an AD was on my SS GMT IIC which I ordered thus the watch was never on display and had the bezel protector on it when the box was opened. |
