Rolex GMT Master 1675 (from 1971) Valuation

Hello,

I'm new to this forum, I have a Rolex GMT Master 1675 from 1971 in good condition. The watch has been serviced by Rolex once around 20 years ago and the original glass with the date magnification and strap were replaced. The bezel colours have slightly faded over time.

I am unsure of the value of this watch.

It would be great to get an honest valuation from experienced vintage Rolex forum members. I have taken it to a couple of dealers who have given me a range of different prices, so I would appreciate any help you can give.

Very nice - they may well have changed the hands, too. Lovely insert. As for value, best to search similar ones to get an idea.

Nice looking example. I'm horrible with prices. I would search listing for other 1675s.

Should also be noted that you'll likely acheive about 20% under going market rate if you're selling. If your interest is in valuation for insurance purposes Id go about 20% over market rate.

As with watch valuations, there are many factors to consider condition, service, and where you are located.

The watch you are inquiring about looks like a very nice watch and if you own it, congratulations!

As with the valuation you received above in USD, I would say yours is on that high end but on the "pounds" side of the house!

Welcome to the forum and hope you stick around!

Great thanks for your help guys, I am actually looking to sell it so I will post it the sales corner of this forum. I am based in the UK and willing to post anywhere in the UK. Do you know if there are many rolex forum members based over here, as it seems it is mainly US based?

Cheers
