Just arrived today. She's still at work and won't get to see it in person until this evening.

It's a K-Serial, Lady Oyster Perpetual with Factory original diamond dial. This is the combination she's been looking for. I have tried for years to get her interested in Rolex, but she was turned off by the cyclops-bubble saying it made the watch look like a shrunken version of a mens' Rolex...Which essentially what it is. :)
Since the date feature is unimportant to her, this watch should fit her needs and then some.

I hope she likes it!

Wow, that is identical to my wife's that just came back from RSC, 1990ish (thanks Bo). Pics to come tonight or tomorrow. It looks brand new.

Edit, Ah no date I did not see that at first.

Thanks! It's taken many years, but I think I may turn her into a watch-geek after all!

Paul
I don't think I'll ever get my wife to appreciate fine watches.

Great looking watch and what a fantastic present for your wife. She will adore it, that's for sure.

The dial looks fantastic with those diamonds, too.

As Harvey has said, it's a great thing to give one of the world's best watches to someone that you love.

Wishing you both every happiness on what will be a day to remember.

Great looking ladies Rolex,my wife has the same one,DJND san's the diamond dial, which I think she wishes she had now, that I bought new for her 15 years ago.She had the same dislike for the cyclops I really don't think it looks that bad with it but hey its not for me to wear and a lot of ladies seem to like it without.
Where did you get it from it looks perfect ?She is going to love it.

Thanks everyone! I'll be sure to post later once she has received it.

I bought it from Old World Jewelers, they are one of the nicest watch dealers I've done business with. I have both bought and sold to them and they are extremely professional and honestly represent their timepieces. :) And yes, it is in beautiful condition. Any specs you see in the photo are just dust.
These lady Rolexes are tiny, LOL! That photo is highly magnified.:)

Thanks Karis! :)

My wife LOVES it! It was nice talking watches over dinner last night. She kept admiring it and pointing out the things she really liked. It's usually me going on and on about watches while she most like thinks to herself, "Is he crazy?"... :)

Great story, Paul. Trading a date for diamonds... yes, I'd have to agree that's a great choice.

Is it rose or yellow gold?

Thanks Lisa! It's yellow gold...And it's funny you should ask, considering she now wants a Rose-gold Rolex to go with it! I may never be able to afford another Rolex for myself!

Be careful what you wish for...
