Absolutely love it. I think it strikes a perfect balance between an every day tool watch and a smart timepiece. And I like that it's a rare piece. I've loved Rolex for years, but as great as many of the Rolexes are, it's great to own a watch that very few other people have.

Love this watch. I am currently in a market for JLC and debating between Geophysic/Geographic/Hometime.

I love the Geophysic! I considered getting one but got a Reverso TT1931 instead because I think it is the iconic JLC. I'd still like to get one for its versatility, however.

Thanks for all your comments. Much appreciated. I too considered the JLC 1931. Lovely timeless classic.

I have one, too. I like it very much. Not sure how many are still available, only 800 made in stainless steel.

Congrats!! Looks great and such a classy watch. How does it feel in terms toughness/sturdy/durability? Obviously not Rolex level, but do how sturdy does it feel? I'm looking at it as a simple no date watch for when traveling and don't want something too delicate. Thanks

Having owned a number of Rolexes i'd personally say the overal craftsmanship is of a superior quality. Ofcourse that's always quite subjective, but the level of detail and balance in my opinion is superb.

Clearly though it wouldn't have the same toughness compared with the likes of an Explorer, but it does have an absolute sturdiness and feels suitably strong, without being too ruged.

I very much see this as an everyday tool watch, that can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion.

Hope that helps.
