RSC would service the complete watch, I believe. But some AD watchmakers would be willing to only polish your Rolex. Just make sure they have the right tools.

Sending it to the RSC to just get a polish seems a little overboard. That is something that can easily be done by a trusted AD.
Not to mention that Rolex doesn't recommend polishing too often. |

x3. I suggest polishing once every 3 years, if the scratches bother you. Now if you plan to sell it that's a different story, some people will want to put in their own dents and scratches so a clean slate is appreciated very much by the buyer.

The first scratch hurts the most, and then the others build character.

I once called the RSC in Dallas, TX about this very issue regarding a pre-owned watch I was considering buying. They informed me that they wouldn't do a "polish only" service and would only do a full servicing. There might be a different policies among the various service centers.

The Submariner is a big watch and has a large profile. Unfortunately it's size and heaviness has had me knock it into more then a few door frames and knobs. Each time it happens, I cringe! So, there are some scratches near the lugs, and at the side of the case. It absolutely drives me crazy and I have been considering having them buffed out through RSC.

With my platinum YM, I have scratches all over the polished center links. It does bother me a little, but I can live with it. I get it polish once a year although Rolex only recommends doing it every few years. |

Ben Bridge in Southern California will polish your Rolex, but a bit pricey, $125.
