How hard is it to acquire a 15300 in Blue Dial?
Haven't been looking for long i'll admit, but it seems that it isn't easy to find this particular model for sale in blue dial.
I am very specific that I want all papers and tags, warranty book etc when buying a watch. What are my chances? I can't seem to love the black dial 15300 for some reason. |

Probably need to be patient. Disco'ed as you know. Even a blue 15400 does not pop up often.

There's been one in a pre owned watch store around where I am, and been sitting there for over a month now. Worried I may never find a blue one in good condition, not bought too long ago and has all it's papers. |

Pretty tough, if none on chrono24 I would search this forum, watchuseek and purists and PM owners asking if they would sell, I've had some success in the past this way.

Switching out the dial at APSC is always an option, would add some extra bucks to the deal though...

That is my grail too, I am also looking for one, but in the worst case I already have the oem blue dial :)
so I could go for any other colour, the main issue is the high price on the 15300, at least for europeans, with the $ vs €... it is way too expensive in most of the cases. |

there are a few out there. Ive been looking for a long time but because of the current price will likely go with the 15202. I cannot for certain say if they are "good ones" but theres one in dubai (goldentimeco) and saw one randomly in LA the other day

I agree that you should also consider the 15202 as well as lately it seems like the gap between a preowned 15300 blue dial and 15202 has been closing.

Get the 15202 if you are looking for a blue dial and 39mm. Otherwise get the silver/white 15300.

Yep. I Agree now maybe a 15202 is better option due to the super high price in the 15300.

Will AP SC change a black dial to a blue? (For payment of course)

There's 2 on Chrono 24 now, I think with patience it's possible to get one, and they are in any case much cheaper than a Jumbo, I alùmost got one 1,5 years ago, for 9.000 euros, in very good condition, but I got a Blancpain instead, sometimes I think I should have gotten it, I would have a blue dial 15300 and a blue dial 5712, I love blue, the Jumbo is a beauty but not having a seconds hand would probably bother me, I like to see a watch living, the lack of seconds hand seems to make a watch a little dull and boring IMO...

White 15300 has a matching date wheel and does not compete as much with 15202. At the crazy current asking for 15300 blue, you are better off with a 15202.
BTW, my understanding is that 15400 blue is not boutique only anymore and hence ADs have it. If you can handle that size that might be an option that is the cheapest and brand new. |

I'd be interested to know if that were true. I know most ADs are pretty clueless, but this one appeared very knowledgeable.
